In general AD wears the clothing of your everyday teenager. He comes from a very wealthy family so he is often seen wearing all of the latest styles for men his age. He also dresses up when required. He likes to shop at stores like Armani Exchange, Dolce and Gabana typical stores along those lines. He also likes Old Navy.
His everyday "uniform" so to speak is a pair of jeans a graphic tee and a pair of shell toe Adidas. If he is not in Adidas he is in a pair or Nikes. He wears a gold chain tucked inside of his shirt most times and also a black rosary. He also has his left ear pierced.

*Uniform:

AD's uniform is black and silver. He has the option of adding a cape but he feels as if it is a bit corny so he passes on it most times. He has a pair of silver gloves that also go with his uniform. His uniform consists of black under armour/leggings and is covered with a light metal chest plate. HE also has light metal plates to cover his upper legs and the plates meet with his boots to connect the uniform together.

Powers:

AD has the ability to control the weather and has slight control over fire. The latter being very weak but possibly able to increase control over time with much training. His ability to control the weather has one positive in comparison to Storm's who's powers are linked to her emotions, his are not. That is thought to be the reason why he discovered his mutant abilities much later than his counterparts within the mutant world. He has shown better control over his ability to control small flames which can spread quickly if he looses his concentration.

Weaknesses:

While quite a handsome boy AD is a bit self conscious at times. This causes him to judge himself and he is working on building his confidence when it comes to using his powers. He is also a major procrastinator when it comes to his school work. He is an exceptionally intelligent teen but he pushes school work aside in exchange for partying or hanging out with friends. He has a bad knee from a futbol injury back in Brasil. At times he has trouble with his knee causing slow reactions on his left side. He has not mastered his powers yet but he is working on it bit by bit everyday but at times they do become overwhelming.

Getting to the Root of the Problem

Personality:

AD is a very laid back easy going guy. On first appearance many people misjudge him to be stuck up but, he is far from it. AD finds it easy to get along with anyone in any situation not having many enemies. The only known enemies he has are those gained while trying to protect others. One of his greatest flaws are his naivete and his wanting to help everyone he comes across. While he is very well liked his thick skull and not well though out plans find him in many situations that he could easily avoid. He however is loyal and makes up for his flaws in that he holds his friends close to him. He enjoys to practice his kali and capoeira martial arts. His close family and friends often joke that he could be the one person to take a sword to a gun fight and win.

While he has his easy going personality he also has his alternative side. AD has been known to go into another when he begins his martial arts. He is swift with speed that can cause an opponent their life if they do not watch him. For a time he had to go to anger management meetings. His anger was a shock to everyone around him because they did not know where it came from. He has recently come to terms with his anger and is now more able to manage it.

Background:

AD was born in Sao Paulo but they moved to Rio de Janeiro when he was 5, Brasil to Jordana and Thiago de Souza. AD's parents both came from poverty stricken areas in the slums of Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. However the pair both were like minded and knew they wanted better for the lives of their children. The pair took different paths in college but both ended up on top. His father became a top plastic surgeon in Brasil and his mother started her own cosmetics line that is now known worldwide. Needless to say the family is very wealthy. The couple were soon blessed with their own two bundles of joy giving way to AD's older siblings. Five years later the couple would again be given AD's their youngest soon and apparently the first mutant in the family.

AD never showed signs of his powers while he was growing up. He was always just like many of his friends. A typical boy running around playing futebol. It wasn't until there was one night he and his friends were in an open field a few miles from their homes practicing for their competition and a summer storm started brewing. Although his friends urged him to leave with them he decided to stay and practice a while longer. A bolt of lightning fell from the sky and struck AD sending him flying but it left not one scar. He was found by his family after they learned from his friends where he was. Initially his family thought it was a miracle but after a while it dawned on them that he was a mutant indeed.

While mutant/human relations in Brasil were not the worst his parents still thought it best for him to leave. They learned about the school and this gave way to his parents deciding it best that he moved to New York and would then be enrolled in the Professors school after having many conversation with him.It is their hope, and his, that he will soon have his powers under control and will be able to better serve the world. He is hoping to one day be a full member of the X-Men.

To Meet Expectations

RP sample:

Adhmar walked through the entrance of the zoo and took a deep breath of the air and then started to cough. He got a few looks from families passing by but he simply rolled his eyes and continued to beat on his chest to stop the coughing. He didn't know why he took a deep breath. He was after all inside of a zoo. That was the last place he wanted to be inside of...well inside of and taking deep breaths. He forgot how strong the odor could be. He had no problem looking at animals but hey, he didn't want to smell them and their business. He looked around for a moment before deciding to take off towards the reptile area. Reptiles were his favorite animals to look at. Well the reptiles and the big cats. He seemed to have a thing for those two animal groups that he could not explain. He wanted to get really up close and personal with them. He had debated getting a job at one of the city's exotic animal pet shops but changed his mind because well...he didn't want to work.

Entering into the crowded area of the large constrictor snakes Adhmar leaned on the glass as if he were one of the younger kids and "oooed and ahhhhhed" as if it were his first time seeing the animals in the enclosures. He wished the institute would allow him to have such pets but he knew that was out the question so he didn't even try. He looked at his watch and shook his head. Why was he out so early? Well he didn't go back to the school last night. He was more than sure he would be in detention for that but it was well worth it for him. He had to go back today for sure. He had only taken enough clothes to his cousins apartment for the night before and that day. He was on his last outfit. He knew he would have to face the music but he couldn't have possibly missed the party. It was the party of the century.

He laughed to himself as he shook his head and relieved the party in his thoughts all over again. He was definitely sneaking off for another fun filled weekend soon. He had his own car after all so it wouldn't be too hard. He pulled out his phone as it vibrated in his pocket. It was message from his dad on his blackberry messenger letting him know he had booked his tickets to return home soon. He smiled widely and continued on his early morning walk of the zoo. It has been so long since he visited a zoo. He counted his three trips here to this zoo before all as one trip. Before he came to the states he hadn't seen the inside of the zoo in Rio for some time. He continued texting with his father as he made his way towards the big cats. He found himself a bit thirsty and still a bit groggy. He wasn't exactly a morning person but he was wasn't the worst person to deal with...most days.

He purchased an ice cold coke slushie and and coke in a bottle to add to the slushie. The coke was an extremely strong one and it caused him to let off a pretty loud burp. An elderly woman looked to him and shot him a dirty look. He laughed sheepishly and continued his walk. As he walked on he didn't notice the familiar face before him because he was so engrossed with his cell phone and the exchange of text messages. The next thing he found was himself on the ground and his phone screen cracked. He let out a deep groan still not looking up and realizing he bumped into a fellow student from the institute.
