Firey red most of the time, but his eyes are like fire; many colors at once. Often his eye colors reflect his mood; red being mutual, white being very mad, and yellow being sad or depressed.
Identifying features:
None, really, unless someone looks at his eyes; not many people have red eyes.
Appearance:
Hadyn has a very good figure. He’s tall and lean but completely made of muscle. His skin is a tan color, and is always hot to the touch, but not so hot that it’ll burn you. He almost always has either a serious expression or a knowing smirk that will irk most people. He usually is wearing nice casual clothes, a bit more on the dressy side.

Power Corrupts Absolutely
Power Origin:
Non-Human
Powers:
Simply put, Hadyn has the power to control fire. He can wield it into many different kinds of shapes, creating swords or daggers or shields. In more detail, Hadyn can draw heat from the air and weld the atoms together to create different things. He has the power to create fire tornados and powerful forest fires. He can make the fire not touch certain things in an area, or make the fire liken unto Greek fire, which is very hard to stop. Also, he can make others somewhat fireproof through physical contact, but this tires him greatly.
Side-effects:
- fireproof
- resistance to heat, and therefore cannot sunburn
- Hadyn’s skin is hot to the touch
Elemental's strength, endurance, speed, and healing factors are more than your average human. Hadyn is just a little stronger and faster than the humans, can endure longer and harder things than the humans, and heals faster. His metabolism is very high, which is one reason why he is very lean. He also ages just a little bit slower. Elemental lifespans are about 120-150 human years. Also, Elementals have photographic memory that starts at about six or seven months old.
Weaknesses:
Like fire, Hadyn can be ‘put out’ by a lot of water. A good way to cool him off would be to dunk him in a swimming pool. The cold is another thing that limits his powers. With the cold, the heat in the air goes down considerably, causing Hadyn’s powers to weaken extremely. Without heat, you can’t have fire. While there is still some heat in the air, the power it would give Hadyn is basically useless. Hadyn, like his sister Eira, is allergic to tomatoes, and is also allergic to iceberg lettuce. Also like his sister Eira, Hadyn has aviophobia, or fear of flying. Hadyn is susceptible to most things that would harm a human, too.
Getting to the Root of the Problem
Personality:
Charismatic and alluring are two words that often describe Hadyn upon first meeting him. He is quite the charmer, and always seems to know what to say and when to say it. It doesn’t help that he is quite handsome as well. Hadyn is quite like fire itself; warm and pleasant in looks, but deadly and burning when you reach inside. Under all his outwards appearance, however, lies a monster.
Hadyn has a sadistic urge to light things on fire. It started when he was young, and he thinks it has something to do with his powers. He often gives into this urge, which has caused him trouble in the past. Hadyn also despises humans. Somehow, in his mind, Hadyn began to think that it was the humans’ fault that his family’s ship crashed. He blamed the humans for the death of his family, and thinks of them as something that needs to be destroyed…preferably by fire.
Hadyn is very hot-headed, and has a fiery temper. His wrath however, can be put out very quickly, if you use the right tools. He is also a realist; not necessarily a pessimist, but he looks at things from reality. Hadyn doesn’t care about what others think of him, so snide or rude remarks have no effect on him. While people may think of him as caring and nice, he is anything but. He holds nothing of sentimental value, and will not hesitate to stab someone who considers him a friend in the back if asked. However, he is very loyal to those he does trust, and currently that only includes the Brotherhood. He would never betray them, as they are the only ones who have embraced him, powers, sadistic tendencies and all, to the fullest.
Family:
- Lliant (mother) ((deceased))
- Glaw (father) ((deceased))
- Ariantan (mother-like nanny) ((deceased))
- Eira (younger sister) ((presumed dead))
Background:
Hadyn is from the planet Eorith, a planet much like Earth. On Eorith, the people are called "Elementals"; this derives from the fact that all have powers deriving from nature' elements. There he was born to his parents, Lliant and Glaw, who were both water Elementals; Lliant being floods, and Glaw being rainstorms. When Hadyn was nine months old, his mother gave birth to Eira, who would later turn out to be a Snow Elemental. His parents were scientists on Eorith, and were part of a group that looked for a world much like theirs. They were often away at meetings and conferences and expeditions.
During this time, Eira and Hadyn were watched by their parent's dear friend Ariantan, a gold Elemental. When Hadyn was just a little over one year old, his parents discovered Earth and immediately wanted to take an expedition there. Lliant, Glaw, Hadyn, Eira and Ariantan boarded a spaceship soon after, and set off for Earth.
The travel time took about two months, in which Ariantan watched the children while the parents studied more about Earth. Upon coming into Earth's gravitational pull, his parents realized they'd been wrong in their calculations and that the ship was not strong enough to control where it went against gravity. The ship was sucked into the Earth's pull and crashed into Norway near the border to Sweden. Hadyn’s parents were killed in the crash, and Hadyn was thrown from the ship. Unbeknownst to him, Eira and Ariantan survived as well, though they presumed that Hadyn had also died in the crash.
Alone, only a year old, and in the snow and ice of Sweden, Hadyn would have died, had it not been for a Swedish search-and-rescue team that had seen the crash. However, they thought the crash to have been one of a private airplane, and since Hadyn did not look any different from them, they assumed him to be human. Being an Elemental, Hadyn could talk some-what at a year old, and he knew what his name was. The workers were amazed that he could tell them his name, but upon further prompting, it was the only thing that he said. He was taken to an adoption agency in a near-by Swedish town when no one stepped forward to claim him. There Hadyn grew up, knowing from his memory that he was not from Earth, but pretending to be all the same. He never hoped that anyone from Eorith would come for him, for he believed that his whole family had died in the crash.
He was about five years old when the urge to burn things started to come. He began to steal matches and burn things he found in the trash. Fire fascinated him. Soon he began worry in the caretakers of the adoption agency. First, Hadyn had not been adopted, which most found unusual; Hadyn was a charming boy who really had no problems. Second, they began to find out about his tendency to light things on fire. By this time, the other children in the agency began to see Hadyn as some kind of oddity; not really a freak, yet, but not normal either. Perhaps they, as children, could sense that Hadyn was not like them. Fights soon broke out between Hadyn and the other boys, and there Hadyn learned the styles of fist-fighting. He stayed at the agency until he was seven; then he decided that he could live on his own, and left.
Soon after he left, his powers manifested. Hadyn used them to keep himself warm at night, and to ward away any animals. However, with the winter months soon coming, Hadyn’s powers began to dwindle. He soon realized that it was the cold that left him powerless, and knew he needed to leave Sweden. This proved a challenge for the seven year old boy, as he had no money and no way to get a across. Soon though, opportunity presented itself. A boat on a nearby dock was leaving for Italy, and from what Hadyn had been taught in the school he had attended at the orphanage, Italy had a very warm climate. The young boy thought it the perfect place to go. So, while the boat was loading it’s cargo, Hadyn snuck on and hid in the cargo section. Since no one ever went down in the cargo bay, Hadyn was never discovered. The trip was relatively short, being only five days, and Hadyn was able to steal food from the galley. Again, when the ship was unloading its cargo, Hadyn snuck off.
Seven years old, only speaking Swedish, and no money, Hadyn again should have perished in the foreign country. Again, however, luck was with him. Only hours after arrival, Hadyn was discovered roaming the streets by the Polizia di Stato, or police. Hadyn’s odd yet charismatic appearance charmed the police woman into taking pity on him. She took him to a shop owner who was well-known for his generosity and charity. The owner gladly took Hadyn in, and began to teach him Italian. Hadyn picked it up remarkably fast, courtesy of him being an Elemental, and soon spoke it fluently. He worked in the shop with the owner, earning wages and being ‘the perfect child’. However, he was only biding his time. For two years he worked with the shop owner, saving his money and secretly practicing his powers. When he was nine years old, Hadyn burned down the shop, and the owner with it. It was seen as an accidental tragedy, and everyone believed that he too had perished.
Hadyn then went into the black market. He was taken in by one of the most powerful gangs in Italy, and soon began to move up in the gang world. By the time he was twelve, he was one of the most respected people in the gang. He was extremely useful, and smart, and picked up languages fast. By this time, he had learned English, Spanish, and French. He was sent as an infiltrator in other gangs, for who would suspect a child? And this, coupled with his tendency to light things on fire, is what first alerted the Brotherhood to his presence. They had several members infiltrating the gang, and those members began to pay close attention to this boy. They had already suspected he had some kind of powers for a while, and so had begun to earn his trust to figure out what those powers were. Soon, one of them figured out what Hadyn’s powers were, and informed Magneto of him. Magneto gave the go, and Hadyn was confronted. At first, Hadyn thought that they had been sent to kill him, and so started to use his powers. However, they soon explained who they were and why they were there. Hadyn saw this as a chance to get out of the gang life, which he had begun to tire of, and a chance to fully come into his powers. He accepted immediately.
Hadyn was sent to Genosha, where he was put under tests to see what he could do. The trainers there were impressed with the boy’s raw power, and began to train him. They also trained him a bit in martial arts, mainly tai-kwon-do. Since then, Hadyn has been a useful tool for the Brotherhood. Upon coming into the Brotherhood, Hadyn told them who he was and how he had arrived on Earth. At first the officials didn't quite believe him, given his pretty normal appearance. However, DNA testing proved him right, and the Brotherhood accepted him into their ranks, though most were a little hesitant at first.
Hadyn did much of what he had done for the gang works: infiltrating, gathering information, burning things down, etc. Sadly, a lot of that changed when he turned fifteen and more people began to suspect the teenager. In the beginning, Hadyn thought that his uses had run out for the Brotherhood. That proved not to be the case, though, when the Brotherhood observed his charismatic charm on people, and the way that those on Genosha opened up to him. He was put into training to be a professional recruiter, and taken on recruiting missions around the world.
After two years of this, the Brotherhood decided to try him out on his own, and not with a team. He was at first stationed back in Italy, where he successfully recruited almost an entire gang of mutants. Pleased with his success, both in recruiting and in the other jobs over the past six years, the Brotherhood stationed him in New York, the place of their #1 enemy, and also the place with the most unaffiliated.

- Fist-fighting: A tool that Hadyn learned young in the orphanage, he has perfected it since then. It can come in handy sometimes.
- Somewhat master of tai-kwon-do: Something that was taught to him upon first coming to Genosha. He was never a black belt in it, but he can best pretty much anyone short of a black belt.
