Collie was starting to get turned around by all the back and forth apologizing and he patted Cher on the back a few times. "Yeah, that kinda sucked." He joked with her as he grinned playfully. "And we both flailed. It more of a morning swim than any kind of potential danger, I'd say." Collie laughed and let go of Cher, stepping back onto the side of his machine so he could turn it off. Oh yeah, that reminded him, he needed to track down that useless bitch he'd handed the papers to and... yell at her, or something.
"It's not the first time someone didn't check to see if they had permission. I've done it before. Fury was probably just harder this time because you're still fifteen and everyone actually likes you." He laughed, thoroughly amused. If Fury had to decide between Collie and Cher, even if she didn't have powers, Collie would be right back with his SEALs in a matter of seconds. Collie wasn't even sure if there was anything that didn't like Cher. "Please, Fury's a butterfly. It's the paperwork that's awful." Collie turned to look back at the weight sets, wondering how many sets he'd have to do to increase his masculinity again, when Cher spoke and he turned back to her, eyebrow raised. Unpleasant names?
He started laughing, deep and from his gut. When he found a breath, he managed to hold it long enough to bring himself back into a standing position and wipe away some loose tears. "Oh Cher. Oh, my god. That's... that's funny. Your unpleasant names, I will take. You can be sure that they won't be as bad as what the other agents have to say that just saw us hugging in a gym."
